First Responder
I started in the Emergency Medical Services in the summer of 1994 as a volunteer dispatcher. I received my first Emergency Medical Technician Certification in 1995 and have been working in the field both as a professional and as a volunteer ever since. I have extensive experience in transport, communications, and 911 settings as both a provider, a manager, and an administrator. As with most First Responders, I've been to quite a few "big ones" that have simultaneously provided me with unique work experience and insight into this growing and changing industry.
