Today is Pi Day!
Pi is the number constant ratio of a circle’s circumference to it’s diameter and has been calculated at 3.14159… most often just represented as 3.14. Hence the reason why March 14 (3/14) has become Pi Day. It also has a very cool symbol (reminiscent of Stonehenge) known throughout the world as π.
I’m a huge fan of pie. Sure, I’ll never turn down cake or cookies, but there’s just something special about pie. The world could be ending all around with floods, fire, and aliens invading from space… but as long as I have pie then it’s all good.
So today I will be having pie… and I hope you will too in celebration of Pi Day!!!
