I hate writing “About” pages. Mainly because I don’t necessarily find myself as interesting as other people say they do. So here’s how I see myself in a nutshell…
Professionally I’m a New York City based EMS provider working in the field since 1994. I’ve worked in the private sector, as a 911 provider in the New York City 911 system, and as a volunteer. I’ve held supervisory and management positions, both paid and volunteer, since 1997. I am, first and foremost, a First Responder with a passion to do more than “help others”.
Personally, I’m still a Film major with a Journalism minor at heart. I enjoy putting the proverbial pen (my fingers) to the proverbial paper (the keyboard). I also enjoy capturing moments in time with my camera, and I am a huge fan of food.
I’m also extremely opinionated. Now, truth be told my opinions are not always “correct” and they may change over time, but I think that’s part of the living experience. Over time, what I learn from those I meet will undoubtedly shape me differently than I was 15, 10, or even 5 years ago. Heck… it could change me from 5 minutes ago if they’re that good!
It’s life.
So be it.
